2025 MCSF Fair Schedule

Registration Deadlines

  • February 11 at 9pm: Deadline to request SRC or IRB pre-approval if required by your project. See the SRC / IRB page for details about the types of projects that need pre-approval. Earlier submission is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED.
  • February 19 at 9pm: Deadline to complete the Research Plan and Project Forms milestones in STEM Wizard. For projects that don’t require SRC / IRB pre-approval, students may begin experimentation as soon as their Adult Sponsor has approved the research plan and all forms have been signed.
  • March 4 at 9pm: Deadline to complete corrections to Research Plan and Project Forms. This is also the deadline to complete the Additional Information milestone.
  • March 10 at 9pm: Deadline to complete the Abstract and Project Board PDF milestones in STEM Wizard.
  • March 12 at 9pm: deadline to complete the Promote to WSSEF milestone in STEM Wizard if you want your project to be promoted to participate in the Washington State Science and Engineering Fair (WSSEF). This milestone is just one yes/no question. NOTE: This milestone will not be visible until early March. WSSEF is being held in person at Bremerton High School on March 28-29, 2025.
