Judge registration is now open!

It’s that time of year again – we’re recruiting judges for the Mid-Columbia Regional Science and Engineering Fair.  We need all types of STEM professionals as judges.  This includes, for example, health practitioners, food scientists and agronomists as well as all types of scientists and engineers.

Due to the ongoing COVID situation we will again be holding this year’s fair in a virtual format.  The first round of judging will be done asynchronously between March 5-8 based on materials students will submit electronically including slide presentation PDFs, excerpts from lab notebooks, and a 3-minute video.   We will also be holding panel Judge interviews for the final round of the high school divisions over Zoom on the afternoon of Thursday, March 10.  If you could be available for the Zoom interviews, please indicate that during registration. We will offer training on using STEM Wizard and our online judging process in late February.  The training modules will also be posted on our website.

More details about the schedule and guidelines for judging are available on the MCSF website at https://www.midcolumbiasciencefair.org/judges

We are again using STEM Wizard for the judging registration and viewing/ranking of student projects. To start the registration process, visit the link below:
