Regeneron ISEF 2025

Five Mid-Columbia students recently attended at the 2025 Regeneron ISEF in Columbus, Ohio: Advaitha Motkuri, Sonali Santhosh, and Sydney West won their spots to compete at ISEF from the Mid-Columbia Regional Science and Engineering Fair, and Isabella Pinto won the opportunity to compete by winning the Silver Grand Champion award at WSSEF. The Mid-Columbia Regional Science and Engineering Fair also sponsored Aarav Shrivastava to attend ISEF as an observer. In all, nearly 1,700 young scientists representing 48 U.S. states and more than 60 countries presented projects at the 2025 ISEF! Congratulations to the Mid-Columbia students who won awards at ISEF:

  • Sydney West won The IEEE Foundation Presidents’ Scholarship Award of $10,000, an Honorable Mention from International Council on Systems Engineering – INCOSE, and a 3rd place Grand Award of $1200 in Robotics and Intelligent Machines
  • Sonali Santhosh won a 3rd place Grand Award of $1200 in Computational Biology and Bioinformatics
